AccuLab, Inc. is a privately owned, independent, full service analytical and environmental testing laboratory based in Marrero, LA. Marrero is suburb of New Orleans. AccuLab, Inc. is a small business concern whose principals are 30+ year veterans of environmental testing and who are actively involved in its day to day operations.
Established in 1983 to provide quality laboratory services for NPDES water discharge permit holders, AccuLab has grown to provide services in all aspects of analytical and environmental testing including solid and hazardous waste characterization, groundwater monitoring, methods development and quality control testing. The growth of AccuLab has been steady because of our commitment to providing personalized service to each of our clients. This commitment has limited the number of jobs we are willing to undertake. We now have in place a strong multi-disciplined staff and system which allows us to accommodate a larger sample load without sacrificing the personalized service we have built our reputation on. Through strategic partnerships with a number
of related companies, AccuLab is able to offer a wide variety of turnkey
services including equipment operations and maintenance, site assessment
and remediation and regulatory interfacing. Through contacts we have
developed over the years with laboratories in other testing fields, AccuLab
can handle requests for almost any type of testing.
The hallmark of any laboratory is the
quality of the data produced in the laboratory. AccuLab has in place
a quality control system designed to meet or exceed requirements of the
USEPA and LADEQ for data quality. For environmental samples, AccuLab
uses only methods approved by the agency administering the program for
which the samples have been collected. For any other sample submitted,
we attempt to use standard methods (ASTM, API, etc.) when possible.
If no standard method exists, or if the standard method is not amenable
to the sample matrix, AccuLab can modify a standard method and validate
the modified method to assure useable test data.
AccuLab, Inc.'s pricing is competitive with both larger and smaller laboratories. However, because of AccuLab’s personalized service, value per dollar is greater at AccuLab since clients get the data they need in a format suitable to their needs in a timely manner.

Every attempt is made to provide test results as quickly as possible, without sacrificing accuracy.
Normal turnaround time (TAT) for most routine analyses is approximately ten (10) working days. If results are needed more quickly, RUSH service is normally available, depending upon prior work loads in and commitments by the laboratory. Please be advised that RUSH service is subject to availability of personnel and instrumentation. Please call in advance to schedule RUSH service.
Possible unforeseen problems with sample matrix or other types of problems may result in an inavailability of RUSH service in certain cases. Every effort will be made to provide the RUSH service required. Certain analyses are not amenable to RUSH service, so please call in advance of sample submission to confirm availability of this service and cost.
The original and one copy of each report will be provided to the client. Reports will contain test data, methodology, charts, graphs and curves, as well as any other information pertinent to any particular job. All information contained therein will be held strictly confidential and will not be released to any
person or agency (except where mandated by law) without the written consent of the client who is responsible for payment of invoices for the services performed. Photocopies of archived reports will be charged at ten dollars ($10.00) each or $0.30 per page, whichever is greater. Secretarial time will be charged at the rate of $25.00 per hour for specially requested secretarial requirements.
